My client, a prestigious national law firm, is seeking a Trademark Associate to join its Trademark and IP Licensing practice. The position entails working with the Chair of the Trademark Prosecution and Enforcement practice to counsel clients on trademark selection, prosecution and enforcement. This candidate will also support a variety of IP matters including domain name enforcement; opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and foreign agencies; intellectual property licensing and due diligence; and trademark, copyright and advertising issues in social media and other online contexts.
The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in domestic and international trademark counseling, clearance, prosecution and enforcement matters. Excellent academic credentials are required. NY/NJ bar preferred. Privacy law experience is a plus.
