IP Litigation Paralegal

My client, a top national law firm, is seeing an IP Litigation paralegal for its Chicago office

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate or appropriate job-related experience
• required.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience as a patent litigation paralegal.
• Proficient in electronic filings using CM/ECF system for Federal courts.
• PTO re-examination proceedings a plus.
• Excellent, organizational, communication, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong computer skills including litigation support software and databases.
• Exceptional drafting, proof-reading and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, plan and take initiative to accomplish objectives in
• a timely manner with minimum supervision.
• Must be a team player while effectively and efficiently use firm resources

Responsibilities

• Prepare litigation documents, including discovery, motion and trial documents.
• Organize and maintain case materials using legal document management
• systems.
• Conduct research and gather information using general and legal research tools.
• Other responsibilities as client needs dictate.
