My client, a growing pharmaceutical company, is seeking a Production/Packaging Supervisor for its Long Island headquarters. This is a 2^nd shift position. Hours are 3:30 pm to midnight.
Responsibilities:

Maintain 100% cGMP and Compliance during Packaging Operations
Check and ensure that all Packaging Operations are performed following SOP
To meet the production schedule by strictly adhering to the cGMP standars
Continuously train operators on SOP and submit training records
Maintain the department clean and organized
To ensure that all operators adhere to company policy
Make sure that vision systems is working effectively, reconciliation 100%
To ensure and enforce the responsibilities the Line Leader and Group Leader
To plan and execute assigned work for the shift, monitor and implement schedule
To communicate all packaging related issues with manager
Ensure that one batch for each line is staged in time to reduce down time
To monitor and improve line efficiencies
To keep product quality top priority
To monitor safe operation of all packaging lines
Make effective communication between shifts to ensure smooth transition
